NFL: Great honor: Brady for Laureus

One day after his career in the US Profiliga NFL, FootballStar Tom Brady has been nominated for awarding Laureus World Sports Academys Awards.

The 44-year-old American, seven super-bowl champion, belongs to the six athletes who are allowed to make hopes for the prize as a world athletes of the year. Brady has never been proposed.

The competition of the former quarterback, which announced his retreat after 22 NFL years on Tuesday, is prominent.

Laureus Sports Awards 2022 - Track and Field nominees Also World Footballer Robert Lewandowski of Bavaria Munich, Formula 1 World Champion Max Stapen, whose title rivale Lewis Hamilton, the controversial Tennisstar Novak Djokovic, US float Caeleb Derrächel and Marathon world recorder Eliud Kipchoge stand for election.

The women were nominated Elaine Thompson-Hermah, Allyson Felix, Katie Ledecky, World Footballer Alexia Putellas and the freshly baked Australian Open winner Ashleigh Barty.

Winner of 71 members of the Laureus World Sports Academys Academy voted

The awards of the non-profit foundation will virtually be virtually awarded in April because of the Corona Pandemic. The nominees were selected by a jury consisting of 1300 Sports Academys journalists. The winners choose the 71 members of the Laureus World Sports Academys Academy.

The non-profit Laureus Foundation, which uses worldwide with various Sports Academys projects for disadvantaged children, distinguishes athletes and athletes for their services in the past calendar year.
