Avatar: The sense of water, the first collection estimates place it below its predecessor

Everything is ready for the arrival of Avatar: the sense of water. The first part is already in cinem to refresh the memory and, incidentally, add millions in that eternal struggle for the highest grossing film in history. Soon, direct comparisons can be made about the proceeds of the premiere, but the estimates that are currently being carried out are not put on the part of this second part.

Avatars of life in Pandora

It is something that is often heard when talking about Avatar aftermath: they arrive very late. That alleged revolution that those responsible in 2009 with the first part, already know, never seen, the imposition of 3D and other hype, w diluted which sugar sooner rather than later. It h rained a lot since then, and the distant echo of Pandora's drums are almost inaudible today.

Of course James Cameron, the architect of the invention, h been heating our ear for some time with respect to what we are going to witness. Friend of superlative words, however, what is shown in Trailers does not seem to come it. It is curious how the first part endures the type before the new installment when there are so many years in between. And it is that current technology should leave diapers to what w achieved then, but it does not give that feeling.

What is appreciated is a feeling of tiredness, which is sneak in the estimates of Variety for the national box office harvest, some estimated 649 million dollars (remember, the budget is estimated at 250). That would leave the sense of water below the 772 that raised the original. It is also true that this new installment will have the support of VoD and streaming, which in full boom would add another 600 million quietly.

ULTIMATE For now, the public is going to theaters to recall their first vacation in Pandora, although more than one h thought it w the new resort and h taken a click riding in anger. And we will see from December 16 if Avatar: the sense of water is the revolution that promises (again). At this point, we settle for simply a great movie.
